Meet Kona

Kona is our resident explorer, having trained at the paws of the legendary spelunker Harry Pawmerston and the famous mountain climber Furrancis Winters. She’s brought her skills to the Adoption Center, where you’ll find her carefully studying the ground beneath her, meticulously planning her ascent of the cat trees, and regularly keeping in shape by running on the cat wheel. She loves to play with other cats, but also is independent enough to be on her own. She likes humans and adores being scratched--arching up into your hand for more--but she prefers it on her own terms. When she requests it (reaching down and picking her up is not Kona’s jam). If you’re looking for a smart, entertaining girl without a single mean bone in her body, take Kona for an adventure in your home!
