Meet Lance

Lance should be named Oscar, because he’s a grouch. At least he seems that way. He’s the grumpy old man from the movie Up. The curmudgeon yelling at people to “get off my lawn.” But it all comes down to this: somehow our little Lance just doesn’t know how to be a cat. You see, he growls. All. The. Time. He growls when something moves. He growls when you pet him (after purring also). He growls when he eats. He’s just … grumpy. Or maybe growls are his love language. Because he’s not at all mean, and he’s a very sweet boy underneath an oddball, non-cat-like exterior. He’s like a disgruntled bear who’s been poked awake during hibernation. He’s an old, cranky soul in a three-month-old kitten body. Lance will need a loving adult family who’s ready to work on understanding his language and giving this grouch the love he’s actually craving underneath the growling veneer. Can you give this growly boy a chance?
