Meet Poe

Poe is looking for his second chapter in life. Like his more famous name-twin, Edgar Allan Poe, our boy made a career of writing mysteries and thrillers, all of which featured a hard-as-nails PC (private catective) who brought the bad guys to justice. But Poe tired of the solitary writing life—for ten years, month after month, he struggled alone at the typewriter, eating and drinking too much. After all that solitude, he wants human company! He’s indifferent to other cats and children—what he loves is people and being petted. That said, he’s not a snuggler, but will lay next to you at night and sometimes crawl on your chest when it’s time to get up. He’s best suited for a family that’s home a lot of the time, so he has loving company. (Note: He’s on a special diet for early kidney disease. He loves his special wet foodies and is doing very well.) Help Poe write a happy ending for himself, by giving this sweet boy a furrever home!
