Meet Samantha

For a Queen, Samantha is a real sweetheart. Of course, Sam isn’t a real queen, she just played one on TV. We think. See, Sam and her brother Precioso were crowned the first Queen and King of the Cats as the original winners of FelineTV’s wildly popular reality-survival show “By A Whisker.” They amassed such a fan-following that after their own win, they took over as hosts for the next 18 seasons of the show. It was grueling, paws-on-the-treadmill work for the last 7 years, and Samantha is ready for a break. We won’t lie—acting like royalty day in and day out for so many years left Samantha with the occasional “do my bidding, servant” grumpy-tortie look. But you need to ignore that, because in reality, she’s a very sweet and mellow cat. She adores attention from her humans in the form of pets and scratches. And she LOVES hanging out with her brother, Precioso, who spent all those years at her side. Whatever family is lucky enough to give this cat royalty a loving home for the next chapter of their lives will have two wonderful, purring companions!
