Meet Spot

Spot is the cat version of a classic movie matinee idol—think Gable, Redford, Newman, and our own Mister Spottington—in search of a perfect, starring role. Though this 2 year old will start shy and reserved, his swoonworthy good looks will lure you in, and once he trusts you, he’ll be your leading (cat) man forever. A true diva, he’ll spend most of the day lounging and demanding regular doses of adoration, pets, and snuggles. Sadly, like so many other stars, Spot also knows the dark side of fame … rescued from a shelter that deemed him feral, he was placed through our Barn Cat program, but turned out to be too friendly for the mean hills of San Diego. Though he’s still a little timid and easily spooked after being injured in the wild, he’s ready to settle indoors with some of his adoring fans and fill the house with the sound of his purrs. He’s great with cats and kitties of all ages, would prefer a home with older children rather than younger, and wants nothing more than to find a loving, furrever home.
