Meet Clio
Clio is a gorgeous dilute calico girl who’s honestly had enough of the spotlight. Her striking looks made her an instant favorite as an artist’s meowdel and muse. Once a video about artist and Tik Tok sensation Furrancis Mercury creating a painting of Clio went viral, she became the next internet sensation.
Meet Butch
The word for Butch is enthusiastic. In fact, that’s how he got his first job: as mascot for NCKU (National Cat and Kitten University).
Meet Caleb
Caleb is a gorgeous tuxie boy with a magnificent crop of white whiskers. He’s been cultivating those whiskers for a long time, and at one time, he was even runner-up for the CWTV (Cat Whisker TV) Kitten of the Year.
Meet Orville Wright
Little Orville Wright (Orv, to his friends) knows he’s able to fly. He keeps working on it, leaping higher and farther with more and more hang time every day. He was being scouted for the National Cat Olympic team, but Orv realized he wasn’t made for cutthroat competition and solitary pursuits.
Meet Kona
Kona is our resident explorer, having trained at the paws of the legendary spelunker Harry Pawmerston and the famous mountain climber Furrancis Winters.
Meet Kawhi
Kawhi is a favorite around the Adoption Center, because he’s one of the most goofy, charismatic cats we’ve seen in a while. Not surprising, considering his short-lived career as a used-car salesman.
Meet Laka
Laka briefly considered a career as a professional marathoner, but in the end decided she couldn’t handle the pushy-shovey required to be at the front of the pack. Besides, those catnaps weren’t going to take themselves!
Meet Luka
Let’s face it, black cats are the best. They’re equal parts majestic, goofy, and hard to find in the dark—and they frankly don’t get all the love they deserve. Luka is especially magic, a total charmer. We mean that literally.
Meet Kaylee
Sweet little Kaylee is a bit like Cinderella. There’s no evil stepmother in the story, but she tends to fade into the background while other, more assertive kittens elbow their way into the middle of playtime.
Meet Wendy
We’ll be honest, Wendy sometimes has a little bit of judgey face. But it’s nothing personal! It’s left over from her time as an elite, international figure skating judge, when she had to keep a poker face no matter what she saw on the ice in front of her.
Meet Daisy
Daisy is fresh from a short-lived career as the only female reporter for the NFFL (National Feline Football League). This smart little girl had managed to claw her way from catnip-carrier to sideline reporter in just one short year, but that rough-and-tumble world was a little much for her sweet, mellow personality.
Meet Lance
Lance should be named Oscar, because he’s a grouch. At least he seems that way. He’s the grumpy old man from the movie Up. The curmudgeon yelling at people to “get off my lawn.” But it all comes down to this: somehow our little Lance just doesn’t know how to be a cat.
Meet Lucy
Lucy is our teenage Goth girl. She’s “all black, like my soul,” she’d say, as she scurries back into a cat cave or under a bed to look out at the world. Honestly, we think she’s a bit of a drama queen.
Meet Lawan
Lawan remembers all the way back to when she was Queen Cleopatra of Egypt. When people bowed and scraped before her and catered to her every whim. Honestly, she’s chosen to continue returning as a cat because feline life isn’t all that different!
Meet Sheeva
Fearless Sheeva is our resident FelineXGames star. She specialized in Xtreme Parkour, and some of her moves and leaps and flips were truly mind-boggling. But while she trained hard and had plenty of success, this two year-old knew there was more to life than fame and fortune.
Meet Tessa
Tessa is our sweet little Goldilocks. She didn’t stumble over the home of three bears and try their beds and porridge, but she very much IS looking for her home that’s just right.
Meet Scribbles
Scribbles was so taken with the memoir “Eat, Pray, Love”—though between us, he liked the film version better, because who doesn’t love Julia Roberts?—that he embarked on his own voyage of self-discovery.
Meet Jag
Jag is the quintessential black cat. In fact—though he doesn’t like to brag—he was the prototype for the earnest, quirky sidekick black cat in the megahit film, “Purrfect Harmony,” a mockumentary about the rise and fall of feline rock bands.
Meet Firefly
We think of Firefly as our version of Mewriah Carey—and she’s ready for a comeback. Like the human singer, she had a successful first career doing what she was told and going with the flow.
Meet Hyacinth
Hyacinth comes to LYFF after a successful career as a DJ. That’s right, as DJ KatNip she spun the tracks and pumped up the jam for thousands of cat dancers, but she quickly grew tired of that life--the all-night shows, the fame seekers trying to get close to her, and the sheer volume of noise all the time.
